First off the paddle was shipped the day I ordered it! It took 5 days UPS ground to get to Tennessee, which I think is reasonable. The packaging was excellent. This is a well-made and beautiful looking paddle. So far, I have only had the opportunity to test this paddle for an hour or so on the water but found it to be very user friendly. I am upgrading from an Aqua Bound Sting Ray (straight shaft, carbon) and while the weight difference is very small, the Werner seems to make forward strokes effortless and much more efficient. I took to the bent configuration right away and my wrists thanked me. There was no flutter and I felt very much in control of my boat in choppy and windy conditions on a large lake. The slightly larger blade area seemed to translate into a faster ride?? Well done Clavey Paddlesports! I’m a first-time customer who will be back for more.
