Description
This beginner stand up paddleboard lesson includes equipment,
overview, paddler safety, how to get on and off your board, proper
stance for maximum stability, forward stroke, and essential turning
techniques. The SUP Level I Class is designed to give you the
skills and confidence to get on the water and have a fun, safe
experience on flat water the world over.
Instruction for these SUP fundamentals is done on dry land and
in the water.
The last 30 minutes of class is dedicated for you to practice your
new SUP skills.
Be prepared to get wet.
Wear clothing and footwear that will keep you warm: capilene,
neoprene, fleece etc. Rental wetsuits are available for this class
by prior arrangement. Please call for details.

Instructor
Anne Kellogg
Anne has over 30 years of experience teaching a variety of
sports and outdoor activities to both adults and children.
She is certified by the World Stand Up Paddleboard Association and
as a physical educator. Her patient, kind, and friendly
approach to teaching helps her students gain confidence in the
skills they need to enjoy the fastest growing sport on the
planet. When Anne is not out on the water teaching she is
busy developing, scheduling, and promoting new SUP classes and
social paddles. In her free time she loves spending time with
her husband Jeff, their daughter Raini and Matt the dog.
Space is limited to 8 so sign up early. Space is not reserved
until paid in full.
Reservation/Cancellation Policy
- Your space is not confirmed until we have received payment in
full.
- We cannot make refunds for cancellations made within 2 weeks of
the class/tour.
- If you must cancel within two weeks of your class/tour, we will
apply your credit to another class.
- On-going SUP Yoga and SUP Fitness classes require a minimum of
48-hour cancellation notice.
- We will confirm your cancellation.
- Sorry, there are no refunds or credits for no shows or late
arrivals.
- You will be asked to sign an assumption of risk and liability
release prior to participating in any class or tour. This is
a requirement for our insurance carrier; participants may not join
a class or tour without a signed form.
- We reserve the right to cancel or curtail a trip due to weather
conditions or other conditions out of our control. In this
case, we do our best to provide you with another suitable date,
issue a credit or refund.
- Pre-registration is required for all
classes/tours. We can take a reservation up to 4:00 PM the day
before the class/tour. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate
reservations the morning of the class/tour. If you would like to
make a reservation the day before the class/tour after 4pm please
call us at 707-766-8070 to check if space is available.
